Abstract: Рассмотрен расчетно-аналитический метод определения конструктивных и энергосиловых параметров импортозамещающей конструкции манипулятора для замены погружного стакана без прерывания разливки на слябовой машине непрерывного литья заготовок, позволяющий минимизировать временные затраты на этапе конструирования машины.
Description: Background. Systems for a quick replacement of refractory submerged nozzles of slab continuous casting machines (CCM) belong to original equipment. The lack of complete, accurate information in scientific and technical sources regarding the calculation methods ofpower parameters of these systems complicates and makes impossible the development of reliable, competitive domestic slab CCM tundish and serving manipulators. Therefore, the development of the design principles of the newly developed systems for a quick change of submerged nozzles is an actual scientific and technical task, especially in the implementation of import substitution programs in the heavy engineering industry. Materials and/or methods. The analytical study of structural and power parameters of the manipulator for a quick replacement of refractory submerged nozzles is madewith the use of fundamental provisions of theoretical mechanics and theory of mechanisms and machines. For power calculation of the manipulation system, the d'Alembert principle isapplied. To calculate the kinematic parameters of the removal mechanism for a worn-out nozzle, comprising a planetary gear, the Willis method is used. Results. The dependencies are revealed for determination of drive parameters of the main mechanisms manipulating spare and worn-out submerged nozzles. Kinematic and power calculations of the structural schemes of the main assemblies are made. The developed calculation method for constructive and power parameters of the manipulator for submerged nozzle replacement on the slab continuous casting machine allows to substantiate and appointthe rational drive characteristics of the mechanisms of feeding the spare and removal of worn-out submerged nozzles, as well as reduce time costs at the stage of designing of the whole machine. Conclusion. The analytical dependencies obtained for the original design of the manipulator allow filling the gap in the domestic methodology of designing non-standard metallurgical equipment when implementing the import substitution programs, and their use in the process of machine operation will allow for a causal analysis of the variation of its reliability indicators. The proposed structural scheme of the manipulator provides a complete mechanization and automation of the operation of changing submerged nozzles avoiding even short-term cessation of continuouscasting in the slab CCM.
